Will Miami Beach’s beloved Jackie Gleason Theatre become a permanent home for Cirque du Soleil?  The jury’s still out on that question, but City Manager Jorge Gonzalez told a crowd of arts lovers why Cirque would be a good thing for the city and its residents at a March 2 workshop held at the Miami Botanical Garden.

Hundreds of people turned out for the meeting, which was part of the Miami Beach Arts Trust’s “Evening Bag” series of educational workshops.
