Party at the C.G.Art Cinema, Sing the Blues in Key Largo, Admire the Art at M.B. City Hall, Jazz at WDNA Gallery, Roseanna Vitro at C.G. Congregational Church
The Coral Gables Art Cinema is having a party...and you're invited. Saturday, July 21, at 8:00 pm, the Gables Cinema will have an Italian-themed fete, From Italy With Love, on its outdoor plaza, to celebrate Woody Allen's film, To Rome With Love. The reception includes an open bar and bites. After the reception, patrons will be transported to Rome with a 9:15 pm screening of the first run To Rome With Love . The film is being held over through July 26. The evening is presented in collaboration with the Societa Dante Alighiere and the Italian Film Festival under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Miami. Tickets, which include the reception and the screening, are $20. Tickets are available in advance through the Cinema's website www.gablescinema.com or in person at the box office during regular screening hours.

Ninety-five works of art created by City of Miami Beach employees and their families are on display in the Seventh Annual Exhibit of the National Arts Program® in the City Hall Fourth Floor Gallery through September 27, 2012. The juried exhibit is judged by professional artists and arts professionals. The annual program provides City employees and family members with a rare opportunity to exhibit their original works publicly and to compete for $2,400 in cash prizes and four continuing art education scholarships. The exhibit is sponsored by the National Arts Program Foundation, with support and cooperation by the Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council and the City of Miami Beach.
There'll be an 88.9 WDNA fm Serious Jazz Friday night at eight, with Jazz Encounters featuring the Jamie Ousley Trio with special guest Nanami Morikawa, one of Japan's leading jazz vocalists.
