The Immigrant, The South Beach Men’s Show, The Pleasure is... all Mime, A Visual Diary of Jaime Ferreyros, Meet Bunny Yeager 

The Immigrant, the story of a Russian Jew who comes to America and moves in with a Gentile family in a small town Texas in 1909, opens Oct 5 at the Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre.   Written by Mark Harelik and directed by Hugh Murphy, the show stars Jeffrey Scott Leshansky, Michael Douglass, Janet Weakly and Greyssan Felipe. The South Beach Men’s Show, focused on building a stylish fashion wardrobe for men, is scheduled for Friday, October 5 at the Historic Art Deco Welcome Center at 1001 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. The show presents an eclectic mix of national and international men's underwear and swim wear designers, showcasing their recent and upcoming collections. The Pleasure is... all Mime is a two-act pantomime show performed by Nina Hlava. who studied pantomime with Marcel Marceau and other notable artists and teachers in Europe and holds a PhD from Prague University in Physical Theater and Pantomime. The production's main theme is a takeoff on pop culture, expressed in a series of miniature plays and sketches. The world premier of "The Pleasure is... all Mime" is on October 11 through 14 at the Colony Theater, Lincoln Road, Miami Beach 305.673.7311  www.colonytheatremiamibeach.com  

A Visual Diary of Jaime Ferreyros, the everyday journey of a man who finds himself in deep connectedness with his iPhone, is opening at the the Lunch Box Gallery. Iphoneography: creativity and technology are automatically married in the in-vogue trend. The opening night is on Saturday, October 13th from 7-10pm at 310 NW 24th St. Miami. Meet Bunny Yeager, the pioneer Miami photographer who brought to the world a provocative catalogue of females in a variety of semi-nude poses. She will be at the World Erotic Art Museum, celebrating its seventh anniversary Tuesday October 16.   The evening will be dedicated to Yeager who will speak of the classic ‘50s when her bikini and leopard-clad ladies dominated the world of the pin-up.
