The Immigrant, the story of a Russian Jew who
comes to America and moves in with a Gentile family in a small town Texas in 1909, opens Oct 5 at the Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre. Written by Mark Harelik and directed by Hugh Murphy, the show stars Jeffrey Scott Leshansky, Michael Douglass, Janet Weakly and Greyssan Felipe. The Pleasure is... all Mime is a two-act pantomime show performed by Nina Hlava. who studied pantomime with Marcel Marceau and other notable artists and teachers in Europe and holds a PhD from
Prague University in Physical Theater and Pantomime. The production's main theme is a takeoff on pop culture, expressed in a series of miniature plays and sketches.
