Dear Readers,
Welcome to our first issue of MiamiArtZine.com.
This Internet arts news magazine is presented to you
by the Miami Beach Arts Trust. The trust has been
bringing the community a program of educational Brown
Bags and Evening Bag workshops in an effort to inform
and collaborate arts groups and arts lovers. Now, to
fulfill our organization's mission, we go one step
further.
With our growing community, we felt a need to start
MiamiArtZine.com to spread the voice of our arts
happenings. Much is going on that is never reported.
Also, we will take a personal look at the people who
make the art scene what
it is today.
This e-zine belongs to the community. We want you to
write to us and let us know what's happening.
Suggestions are encouraged. Remember: This is your
voice.
I want to thank all the people who have put in many
long hours to make our first issue happen. Also, I thank
the Miami Beach Arts Trust board. And this would not
have happened without the hard work of our editor Mary
Damiano.
