Arts at St. Johns Celebrates 6th Annual Showcase

As the water shimmered with the light of a warm Miami sunset, the back patio of St. Johns Church filled with the eclectic sounds of The Baboons, the upbeat world fusion group that kicked off the Arts at St. Johns 6th Annual Showcase October 1.

The crowd munched on the abundant deli and cheese platters, enjoyed the music of The Baboons, as well as each other’s company.

Later, a pied piper led the audience into the church where they were treated to a diverse array of entertainment, including stilt walker and fire artist Lucky Bruno, the St. Johns Choir, singer David Vance, David Leddick, performing a song from his one-man show Quentin and Me, and dancer Hanan.

The show was designed to give arts lovers a sneak peek at the upcoming season of events and programs at Arts at St. Johns.
