Designer Julian Chang Gets Award

Miami designer Julian Chang was honored October 15 when he was the recipient of the Vox Out Style + Design Award at the final Karma Saturdays, the weekly event which was hosted by Edison Farrow.

Representatives from Out Magazine and Vox Vodka presented Chang with his award. Chang then introduced a short runway show of his latest collection.

Buff male models walked the runway in Chang’s clothing, dominated by a gorgeous silky black and white paisley print fabric done up as a robe, a shirt, boxers and rakish sashes for the men’s well-fitting trousers.

Many a jaw dropped when the models, clad in only underwear, peeled off their Julian Chang T-shirts and tossed them into a grateful crowd of men.

Guests grooved to the sounds of DJ Daisy Deadpetals and enjoyed sushi and Vox vodka during the festivities.
