How did you get started?
A realization when very young that there is something else out there and something else inside of me I needed and must express.

Who or what are your influences?
Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon, El Greco, Asian art. etc. etc. etc.

What inspires your work?
Rust, roots, oil stains after a soft rain, sex, love and lust.

How does Miami/South Florida influence your work?
Eternal sunshine and darkness and its onslaught on the eyes and soul.

How would you describe your work?
A happy Asian-inspired revelatory nightmare.  It's only all a dream, right?

What has been the most unusual reaction to your work from the public?
A small child at my very first exhibition said she wanted to be like me when she grew up.

What would you like to achieve as an artist?
Greater success and the financial ability to help my peers and those who are following a similar path as artists.
