Birthplace: USA
Artistic Medium: Paint,
papier mache, video performance
How did you get started?
Drawing, and loving the art that I saw in museums and elsewhere.

influences?
Art of the past, Giorgione, Francis Bacon, Edward Hopper, David Smith and
Vermeer
What inspires your work?
What is perceptible but hidden
How does Miami/South
Florida influence your work?
Miami is an uninhibited surreal mess
How would you describe your
work?
Maybe it's a surreal mess too, but it's really an attempt at organizing my
own thoughts and feelings---including examining the relationship between two and
three dimensional representation and reality; art work as an object of
value/desire versus artwork as an examination of perception, emotion and ideas;
and as an object of self-expression versus a document of visual/spatial
research.
What has been the most
unusual reaction to your work from the public?
Confusion
What would you like to
achieve as an artist?
Self realization, fame and fortune
