Look closely at the woman blowing out the candles—she’s the new face of eroticism in the Magic City. We love this shot of Naomi Wilzig, putting out the sugary fire on the celebration cake that commemorated the 2nd anniversary of the World Erotic Art Museum in Miami Beach, on Monday, December 3, while her son, Sir Ivan, and her bodyguard, J.C., look on. The occasion not only celebrated the museum, but the opening of the new exhibition by artist Laurence Gartel, titled “Gartel: Exotic/Erotic/Electronic,” which runs through January 15. Naomi doesn’t look like a person you might imagine spending decades collecting erotic art from all over the world, but that’s exactly what she did. When her collection got really, really big, she opened a museum in Miami Beach to share her gorgeous, provocative collection with the world. In the last two years, the museum, affectionately known as WEAM, has not only become a popular tourist stop on the ever-wacky Miami Beach landscape, but a favorite venue for parties and private events.
