The city and country environments I live in and visit and the people within these environments.

How does Miami/South Florida influence your work?
The abundant light gives me an opportunity to use brilliant and bright colors.

How would you describe your work?
Representational—a bit realistic and a bit impressionistic.

What has been the most unusual reaction to your work from the public?
How I get my watercolors so saturated with color—not washy or light like other watercolor artist's work.

What would you like to achieve as an artist?
I like to achieve a response in my audience (the viewer) of serenity, surprise, delight and wonderment

The Copley Society of Artists Members Show in Boston in July/August 2008
The New England Watercolor Society National Show in Cohasset, Massachusetts in September/October
The United South End Artist's Open Studio in Boston in September 20/21, 2008
