It was the kind of night that invited magic. Tigertail Productions’ fundraiser, “Moon Over Miami”, brought out hundreds of guests, eager to enjoy the balmy Miami night and support one of Miami’s premier arts organizations. There was magic in the air, to be sure, even in this photo. Miami Beach arts patron Merle Weiss and Tigertail founder and director Mary Luft have been friends for about 30 years, they live in the same area and travel in many of the same circles. Yet these two friends says they’ve never once had their photo taken with each other, even though they’re often at events where photos ops abound. Intrepid MiamiARTzine.com photographer Henry Perez, who loves a good photo op, snapped this lovely shot: two friends, happy, glowing and together. It was worth the wait.
