The winners of the TheaterMania.com Audience Favorite Award: Meredith Lasher of the Women’s Theatre Project, for Overall favorite Three Fittings; Sue Ellen Beryl of Palm Beach Dramaworks, for Palm Beach County Audience Favorite Agnes of God; Jennifer Sierra-Grobbelaar, who accepted the Broward County Audience Favorite Award for Wicked; and Ricky J. Martinez and Eileen Suarez of New Theatre, for the Miami-Dade County Audience Favorite The Mission. Meredith with Sun-Sentinel freelance critic Bill Hirschman, who accepted the Theatre League’s Remy Award for Lifetime Achievement on behalf of Sun-Sentinel theatre critic and Carbonell Awards co-founder Jack Zink, who was in New York on assignment.

Theatre League vice president Ron Levitt was honored with the organization’s Service Award Ricky Waugh was a busy boy during the South Florida Theatre Festival.  He received a Silver Palm Award for his dual performances in The Mission at New Theatre and his performance in Two Sisters and a Piano at Promethean.
