It would hardly be an opening night at the Adrienne Arsht Center without Delores and Sanford Ziff. The charming couple is always dressed so elegantly, and they cut quite a striking figure at all the best opening nights. The Ziff’s name graces one part of the Adrienne Arsht Center, the Ziff Ballet Opera House. They are philanthropists, to be sure, but they are also patrons of the arts. The Ziffs not only give of their resources, they attend performances, they spend time chatting in the lobby, they go to the after parties. This photo was snapped after the opening night of Chicago, at the party held in the Studio Theatre. The party’s theme was, of course, Chicago, which is why the Ziffs are posing with a gentleman dressed like a gangster form the 1920s. That’s the Ziffs—art-loving, fun-loving, folks who help fund the arts. And we all reap the benefits of that.
