Art Basel Miami Beach causes Miami to become the art mecca of the world for a week of art exhibitions, art fairs, parties and various art-related events. This week the festivities started even before the official opening of Art Basel with an art party at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens sponsored by the art magazine Irreversible. Miami hosted hundreds of art parties and openings, including Eco Artland 2009, an art party at Thomas Kramer’s estate, and an opening reception for the new exhibition at the Zadok Gallery.
