What if we held a midterm election and everybody came? The answer depends on WHICH part of everybody showed up. Who was most energized? What issues and concerns dominated voters concerns? Or simply: Did the Blue Wave rise or did the Trump Train rumble? Join Dr. Charles L. Zelden to discuss outcomes and lessons of what many argue will be the most consequential midterm election in a generation. Dr. Zelden is Professor of history and political science at Nova Southeastern University. A legal Constitutional historian, Zelden has published seven books on civil rights, voting rights and the judicial process. Among his publications: Bush v Gore: Exposing the Hidden Crisis in American Democracy (2008) and Thurgood Marshall: Race, Rights and the Struggle for a More Perfect Union (2013). He is currently writing a book: The American Judicial System:A Very Short Introduction. Zelden is also a regular commentator on politics and current events for local and national media outlets.
