Marti Productions, Inc., in partnership with Miami-Dade County Auditorium, presents Cecilia Valdes in concert by Gonzalo Roig on October 11 & 12 at The Moss Center.
The Cuban zarzuela Cecilia Valdes, considered a signature work by maestro Gonzalo Roig, returns to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Week 2025. This concert presentation will revive the musical pieces from the original, premiered in 1932 in Cuba, and includes artistic direction by Manny Albelo and musical direction by Marlene Urbay leading the Florida Chamber Orchestra.
Part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium's Away From Home Series, a program that consists of off-site events at alternative venues with community partners while MDCA is temporarily closed for renovations.
