"DEAR JUNIOR" is a solo exhibition of experimental paintings by award-winning artist Ivan Roque.

This body of work places the audience in the imagined perspective of the artist's future child serving both as a love letter to life and as a collection of wise lessons and stern warnings.Departing from his traditional hard-lined and highly structured compositions, Roque embraces a more instinctive, free flowing approach. Each painting evolves organically, without rigid planning, relying instead on intuition and the fundamentals of form, color, and composition. The works capture the uncertainty, spontaneity, and wonder that mirror the experience of parenthood where one navigates without a definitive guide, guided only by love, instinct, and perseverance."DEAR JUNIOR" invites viewers to lose themselves within Roque's emotionally charged creations and glimpse the intimate dialogue between artist and child, past and future, structure and chaos.
