Saturday, Dec 13, 2025 various times - English

South Florida's favorite holiday tradition is back! Mouse King: The Untold Story of The Nutcracker, the family-favorite musical created by Sesame Street veteran Noel MacNeal and award-winning composerJim Camacho, returns to the Mandelstam Theater this December with an all-new edition of the magically reimagined Nutcracker story.... told from the otherside of the battle.
Now in its twelfth year, "Mouse King" invites audiences to step into a whimsical world where the mice take center stage and the Nutcracker isn't quite the hero he's been made out to be. Packed with heart, humor, and holiday wonder, the musical brings together a vibrant cast of young Miami performers, spectacular puppetry, and show-stopping special effects for an unforgettable seasonal tradition.

Thinking Cap Theatre continues its bold 15th anniversary season with Cymbeline by William Shakespeare, a rarely produced yet profoundly resonant play that fuses romance, tragedy, comedy and history into one dazzling story.
Often called Shakespeare's "kitchen sink" play for its thrilling mix of genres, Cymbeline takes audiences on an epic journey of love, betrayal, forgiveness and the resilience of the human spirit. At its heart is Imogen, one of Shakespeare's most courageous heroines, whose intelligence, bravery and grace guide the tangled plot of forged letters, false accusations, mistaken identity and even severed heads toward a moving resolution of truth and reconciliation.

Man of La Mancha

- Written By Dale Wasserman
- Music By Mitch Leigh
- Lyrics By Joe Darion
Man of La Mancha, the musical that opened Actors’ Playhouse in its Kendall location and again at the Miracle Theatre returns to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary at the Miracle Theatre! One of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals, Man of La Mancha is inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ 17th-century masterpiece Don Quixote and set during the Spanish Inquisition. Cervantes, imprisoned and awaiting trial, leads his fellow inmates in a play-within-a-play that tells the story of Alonso Quijana, an aging man who imagines himself as the knight Don Quixote and sets out on a quest to right all wrongs in the world. Featuring a stirring, Spanish-inflected score with beloved songs like “The Impossible Dream,” “I, Don Quixote,” “Dulcinea,” “I Really Like Him,” and “Little Bird,” this five-time Tony Award-winning musical is a moving tribute to hope, imagination, and the power of dreams.
