South Florida's leading modern dance company, Dance NOW! Miami, graces the stages of the Amaturo theatre for the first time, bringing their unique style of relevant, meaningful and impactful dance performance to the stage in their trademark sinewy, poetic, athletic and graceful style.

The evening features the Broward premiere of the critically acclaimed Book of Psalms, choreographed by Dance NOW!'s Artistic Directors Hannah Baumgarten and Diego Salterini. Inspired by the ancient texts of the old testament, Psalms is a contemporary dance journey through the hopes, joys, loyalties, sorrows, doubts and aspirations of the human heart. The work features an original score from Milwaukee-based percussionist, DeLayne Doyle, costumes from Renato Armijo of Chernaya Bridal House, a breathtaking set from Elizabeth Camargo, President of the Miami Chapter of A.I.A., and lighting design by Bruce F. Brown.
