PLGDC Dance Showcase – This program celebrates storytelling, artistic expression, and the exploration of gender within society through the performances of three women dancers from PLGDC: Stephanie Franco, Mar' Kayla Michel, and Kayin Knighton. It also features Peter London’s new work for six men, delving into bold emotional extremes and the dynamic form of the male body, Jamar Roberts’ A Folk’s Tale, a powerful reflection on African American experiences, and London’s Carnival Street Fete: Caribbean Suite with music by award-winning jazz trumpeter Etienne Charles, concluding a thrilling and high-spirited performance.
