The Miami One Fest
May 29, 2026 to May 31, 2026 - click here for time schedule - Spanish
The Miami One Fest is dedicated to selecting and showcasing solo performance works shaped by emerging trends in contemporary Hispanic performing arts in the United States. It functions as a dynamic platform for innovative voices in theater, dance, and music, highlighting new artistic languages, interdisciplinary approaches, and experimental formats that reflect the diversity of Spanish-speaking creators.
The festival celebrates the "actor in solitude," focusing on the unique artistic challenge of a single performer carrying an entire production. It provides a platform for both local talent and international guests often from Latin America and Spain to showcase diverse theatrical styles, ranging from drama and comedy to multidisciplinary performance art.
In this edition, the festival features groups from Colombia and the Dominican Republic currently based in New York, fostering a vibrant exchange between diasporic communities and local artists. Created by Factory Theater, the event continues its ongoing mission to build meaningful spaces for encounter and collaboration between international creators and Miami-based groups, strengthening artistic dialogue across borders and cultural contexts.
