Wet Ink by RTW Dance

Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM - English

Wet Ink is a visceral dance odyssey of becoming presented by RTWDANCE under the artistic direction of choreographer Randolph Ward. The evening features over ten South Florida artists spanning contemporary ballet, ballroom and vogue dance, drag, art of pole dance, jazz vocals, and spoken word. Moving between fierce spectacle and quiet vulnerability, the evening explores identity, sexuality, agency, pleasure, and defiance.

Highlights include:

  • 10 minute short dance film The Big Dig
  • Jazz vocalist Ja'Nia Harden of The Harden project
  • World Famous Palace South Beach Miami drag legend CC Glitzer
  • A contemporary ballet male pointe solo
  • 2022 multimedia piece Unconventional
  • The RTWDANCE crowd favorite A Vogue Extravaganza.

The performance runs 1 hour and each performance concludes with Unmasked, a post-show dialogue examining how we move beyond divisions that divide us into "us vs. them." Must be 18+ to attend

Art Can Be Copied. Artists Cannot.

Julian Sklar was once a star of London's 1960's and 70's pop art explosion, but he hasn't painted in decades and has been broke for years. His two estranged children, desperate for an inheritance, hire Lori, an art restorer and former forger, to pose as a prospective assistant in order to access 8 unfinished canvases Julian has buried deep in storage. Her plan is to complete them, then return them to storage, where they are to be "discovered" upon Julian's death.
