La Allapattah Collaborative CDC presenta la 2.ยช edician del Festival del Platano el sabado 8 de noviembre, de 1:00 a 6:00 p. m. en el Parque Juan Pablo Duarte (Little Santo Domingo). De entrada gratuita y abierto al publico, el festival celebra la herencia caribena de Allapattah con exhibiciones de arte, platos tradicionales a base de platano, musica en vivo y presentaciones culturales, actividades para ninos y un mercado local que apoya a los pequenos negocios. El invitado especial de este ano es el reconocido artista dominicano Nastor "Angurria" Garcia, conocido por su impactante serie mural Dona Patria: Dominican Beauty y por sus colaboraciones con marcas internacionales.

Respaldado por la Ciudad de Miami y el Comisionado Miguel Angel Gabela, el Festival del Platano resalta la riqueza cultural y culinaria del platano en tradiciones afrolatinas, caribenas y latinoamericanas'lo que los dominicanos llaman con orgullo "Platano Power". Ven a vivir una autantica celebracian de barrio y a fortalecer el tejido econamico y social de Allapattah.

ArtServe Member's Show: Florida Opulence

The ArtServe Member's Show: Florida Opulence will explore the aesthetics of Florida through the lens of the Gilded Age of America from October 10 through January 2, 2026.

This unique member's exhibition delves into the beauty, wealth and historical significance of Florida's past, bringing together a collection of stunning works that capture the essence of the state's opulent history.

ArtServe will feature two solo exhibitions awarded through the Broward County Cultural Division: "Please Touch" by artist Cary Daly and "Marking the Moments" by artist LuRu.The public is invited to a free opening reception on October 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. that will feature live music by the jazz band Totem Cave.
