Give Miami Day
Wednesday, Oct 5, 2022 at 12:00 AM - English
The Miami Foundation sets date for Give Miami Day: November 17, 2022.
Miami's most important annual online giving day, Give Miami Day, is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, one week before Thanksgiving. The annual giving movement unites nonprofits - big and small, new and established - to celebrate and increase generosity in Greater Miami through online giving so anyone can make a philanthropic impact. Hosted by The Miami Foundation, Give Miami Day raises funds for close to 1,000 local organizations in every nonprofit sector, from animals to education and from equity to arts. Last year, Give Miami Day 2021 made history as 38,000 donors generously donated more than $32 million to champion causes that improve local quality of life and equity.
Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $100 million for 1,000+ community nonprofits. This year’s campaign offers the community more ways and days to give. Donors can begin supporting their favorite causes during Early Giving, which opens up for a donation period from Monday, November 14 through Wednesday, November 16. Then, when the clock strikes midnight on Thursday, November 17, the 24-hour giving celebration officially launches.
