Coffee Conversations with Creators: Featuring Carlos Urribarrí

Saturday, Sep 13, 2025 at 12:30 PM - English

Join us in the gallery for Coffee Conversations with Creators featuring artist Carlos Urribarri. The live painting session begins at 12:30 pm. We open at 10:00 am with complimentary espresso and lattes, so you are welcome to come early, browse the collection, and settle in. Expect an easy, conversational afternoon where you can watch a painting take shape and ask questions about process.

We look forward to welcoming you for coffee, conversation, and a work coming to life.

Carlos Urribarri is a multidisciplinary artist whose oil paintings mirror the abstraction and contemplative rhythm of his music. Originally from Venezuela and now based in Miami he built his career as an internationally known guitarist and composer before turning to visual art. He began painting in his recording studio where gesture and silence first inspired his work. He works in oil applying slow layered techniques to explore texture memory and emotional atmosphere. Although his paintings have not yet been shown publicly his music compositions have been performed at venues worldwide. He continues developing his visual practice and is planning his first exhibition later this year. Collectors appreciate his paintings for their meditative depth and their dialogue between sound and image.
