District Sounds: Carnival Edition Ft. Etienne Charles & Creole Soul

Join the Miami Design District for a celebration of Trinidadian Carnival-inspired procession, with performers, percussionists and contemporary jazz playing under the Full Moon. Presented in conjunction with Zak Ove's installation, this multidisciplinary event features traditional Junkanoo performers and towering Moko Jumbies, alongside percussion series by Irawo Osa, and culminates with a live performance by Etienne Chalrles & Creole Soul. Rooted in Caribbean cultural traditions, the celebration brings rhythm, movement, and spectacle into public space, transforming the District into a dynamic, communal experience that echoes the themes of ritual, identity, and collective expression present in Ove's work.
